NEETF sponsors National Public Lands Day annually, and Keep Sugar Land Beautiful participates with National Public Lands Day events each fall.

Texas Cooperative Extension
The mission of Texas Cooperative Extension is to provide quality, relevant outreach and continuing educational programs and services to the people of Texas. Texas Cooperative Extension educates Texans in the areas of agriculture, environmental stewardship, youth and adult life skills, human capital and leadership, and community economic development.

Texas Forest Service
The Texas Forest Service was created in 1915 by the 34th Legislature as an integral part of The Texas A&M University System. It is mandated by law to "assume direction of all forest interests and all matters pertaining to forestry within the jurisdiction of the state."
