17th Annual Don't Mess With Texas Trash Off

Keep Sugar Land Beautiful's 17th Annual Don’t Mess with Texas Trash-Off will be held Saturday, April 10. Please make plans to help us pick up litter and keep Sugar Land beautiful – your help is needed! Groups and individuals of all ages are invited to participate. Registration forms may be downloaded. Registration ends March 26.
A complimentary breakfast for our volunteers will be hosted by Whole Foods Market in Sugar Land at 10:00 am. Entertainment will be provided by the Keep Sugar Land Beautiful Youth Advisory Board and Kempner Cheerleaders. Participants will need to provide their own transportation to a designated cleanup site after breakfast. Please dress comfortably. We will give you trash bags and gloves when you check in at breakfast.
Our volunteer event is Sugar Land's contribution to the nationwide Great American Cleanup and the statewide Don't Mess with Texas Trash Off. 516 KSLB volunteers contributed 1,289 hours to collect 5,715 pounds of trash in Sugar Land at our 2009 Don't Mess with Texas Trash Off! Please make sure you are counted as one of our 2010 volunteers!
